Keith Robert Reay, a talented individual, was born on August 23, 1977, to Priscilla and Russell Reay, a Tool Salesman, who was a pillar of support in his life. As the youngest of four siblings, Keith stood out as the only one who didn't pursue a career in the medical field, taking a unique path in his life. His early years in elementary school were marked by his passion for the stage, where he discovered his talent for playing the violin and singing in the choir. This inclination towards the performing arts was further nurtured when his sister's best friend, who attended an all-girls school, encouraged him to audition for their high school musical. Landing a small role with a solo, Keith's interest in the performing arts was piqued, and he became hooked. At the tender age of 17, he was recruited by The Second City (Detroit),where he honed his skills in improvisation, teaching, coaching, and directing. Keith's experience in this field can be likened to trying to teach someone how to ride a bicycle over the phone, emphasizing the challenges and complexities involved in imparting his expertise.
