Kaushik Banerjee, a renowned Bengali actor, embarked on his acting journey with a romantic film titled Priyatama in 1980, starring opposite the talented Mahua Roychoudhury. The film was directed by Dinen Gupta and marked the beginning of Banerjee's illustrious career in Bengali cinema.
