Darryn "Katz" Carter, a true Southern California native, was born and raised in a household deeply rooted in the world of theatre, with his father serving as a stage performer and mentor. This early exposure to the performing arts instilled in Katz a passion that would stay with him throughout his life.
As he approached the end of his high school years, Katz began to explore the realm of film production, setting his sights on a new creative outlet. He went on to attend film school in Los Angeles, where he discovered his true calling in the art of editing.
In addition to his film school education, Katz also enrolled at The Academy of Art University, where he honed his skills in directing and further expanded his artistic repertoire. Throughout his career, Katz has dedicated himself to his craft, devoting the majority of his time to directing, editing, writing, and producing.
