Katt Balsan is a multi-talented individual, exceling in various artistic and athletic pursuits. Born in France and Switzerland, she has a rich cultural heritage and a strong athletic background. In her youth, she was an accomplished ski racer, competing in the Swiss Alps and honing her skills on the slopes.
In addition to her skiing prowess, Katt was also a skilled horseback rider, participating in show jumping competitions and even winning the French Junior Championship. Furthermore, she was an accomplished swimmer, competing in various events.
As an adult, Katt pursued a career in the entertainment industry, quickly making a name for herself as a talented comedian, actor, and performer. She has appeared in numerous TV and film productions, including the Netflix movie "John Henry" and the Lifetime movie "When Vows Break". Her impressive performance in the Amazon Prime original movie "Prospectors: The Forgiven" earned her the award for Best Supporting Actress.
Katt's theatrical endeavors have also been met with great success. She was nominated for Best Solo Performance at the Hollywood Fringe 2018 for her one-woman show "Balls'ON", which was directed by the late Gary Austin, the founder and original director of The Groundlings. She won the TVolution Fringe Award 2018 for this production.
Recently, Katt was cast as Annie in the play "The One Act Play That Goes Wrong", directed by Beth Wheat at the Big Bear Performing Arts Center. She is also the co-founder of the improvisational theater troupe "Fools of Big Bear", which she formed with her fellow performers. In addition to her acting career, Katt combines her passion for skiing by coaching the Freestyle Team Bear.
