Kathleen York, professionally known as Bird York, is a multi-talented actress, songwriter, and recording artist who has been actively involved in the entertainment industry since her late teens. Her extensive career has spanned across various film, television, and music platforms, showcasing her impressive range and versatility.
One of her most notable roles was as Congresswoman Andrea Wyatt in the popular television series The West Wing, which she played for six seasons from 1999. York also received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Naomi Judd, the matriarch of the Judd family, in the four-hour NBC miniseries Naomi & Wynonna: Love Can Build a Bridge, which aired in 1995.
