Biography

Kathleen Warner Yeates has had a distinguished career spanning over three decades, with a wide range of accomplishments in film, television, theatre, and voiceover work in both the United States and the United Kingdom/Ireland.

Throughout her extensive career, Kathleen has taken on the female lead role in four independent feature films, as well as numerous short films. Her television credits are equally impressive, including a notable appearance in the BBC One/PBS Masterpiece Theatre production of "Little Women", where she played the role of Aunt Carroll alongside the legendary Angela Lansbury.

Kathleen's education and training have been equally impressive, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kutztown University and a Master's degree from Villanova University. She has worked extensively in theatre throughout the United States, performing in a wide range of productions including musicals, new plays, contemporary plays, Shakespeare, Shaw, and experimental theatre.

In addition to her acting work, Kathleen is also a skilled writer, director, singer, and acting coach. She has founded her own production company, Flying Turtle Productions, based in Dublin, Ireland, which focuses on developing and producing film, television, and theatre projects.

Born Kathleen Loretta Warner in Audubon, Pennsylvania, Kathleen began her career performing in Philadelphia theatres and throughout the United States before moving to New York City, where she worked for a decade. In 1999, she relocated to Dublin, Ireland to raise a family, and took a hiatus from the entertainment industry for several years. However, she returned to acting, directing, writing, and related industries in 2011 with her performance in Albert Nobbs, and has been actively working in the industry ever since.

Kathleen's achievements have been recognized with several awards, including an Honorable Mention for Best Actress at the 2021 Independent Film Awards for her performance in the feature film "The Letters".
