Kate's life began on the ancestral lands of the Lkwungen peoples in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, where her journey in the world of performance first unfolded. At the tender age of nine, she took her first steps onto the stage, donning the persona of a caterpillar, and from that moment on, she was irrevocably captivated by the enchanting realm of the performing arts. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Kate remained deeply invested in theatre, her passion for it only intensifying with each passing year.
After taking a brief hiatus from her studies to indulge in a few years of travel, Kate made the pivotal decision to relocate to Vancouver in 2014, driven by her unwavering dedication to forging a successful acting career. It was during this period that she enrolled in the esteemed Acting for Stage and Screen program at Capilano University, where she honed her craft and subsequently secured the services of a reputable agent.
Since then, Kate has enjoyed a diverse range of roles across various mediums, including appearances on the Hallmark Channel, national commercials, and the CW Network's DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In addition to her work on numerous independent feature films and shorts, she continues to maintain a strong connection to the world of theatre, frequently taking to the stage to showcase her remarkable talents.
When she's not busy with her acting pursuits, Kate can be found embarking on leisurely strolls along the west coast's picturesque beaches and forests, accompanied by her faithful rescue dog, Lucy. Alternatively, she can be spotted cozied up at home, surrounded by an assortment of snacks and a good film, basking in the joy of a relaxing evening spent in the company of loved ones.
