Karma Shakya, professionally known as Karma, is a multifaceted Nepali actor who has made a significant impact in the film and theater industry. Born as Mahesh Shakya in Kathmandu, Nepal, he is renowned for his versatility and has established himself as a prominent figure in the Nepali film industry.
Karma's journey began with his passion for acting, which led him to pursue studies in Performing Arts at the Gurukul School of Theater in Kathmandu, graduating in 2007. He started his career in theater, but his big break came when he responded to a casting call by Quest Entertainment, landing the lead role in Sano Sansar, his debut film in the Nepali film industry.
In addition to his film career, Karma remains actively involved in theater and has also ventured into music videos, shooting for various artists and occasionally performing songs in his films, such as the popular track Ghintang Ghisi Twak in Lukamari.
