His reputation has grown exponentially, earning him recognition as one of today's most sought-after pop culture documentarians. His impressive credentials include being featured on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30, Realscreen Under 40, Adweek Creative 100, and Variety's Top 10 Documentary Filmmakers to Watch.
Gill's projects are characterized by their innovative blend of documentary and narrative aesthetics, using contemporary culture as a springboard to explore deeper social themes. His directorial debut, G Funk (2017),delved into the untold story of Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and the rise of hip-hop's most iconic sub-genre, premiering at the SXSW Film Festival, where he became the youngest director to have a feature documentary premiere at the age of 22.
