Biography

Juno Violet Temple, a talented actress, was born in London, England, to a showbiz family, with her parents being producer Amanda Temple and film director Julien Temple. Her unique name, Juno, was inspired by a butte in the Grand Canyon, discovered by her parents during pregnancy. This ancestry is a blend of English and Scottish roots.

As a child, Juno spent the first four years of her life in America before moving back to England and settling in Somerset. Her journey as an actress began at the tender age of four, after her father showed her the 1946 film Beauty and the Beast by Jean Cocteau. She was fascinated and decided then and there that she wanted to be an actress.

Juno attended Enmore Primary School in Somerset, where she was cast in her father's film Vigo (1998). Although her role was eventually cut from the final version, she didn't let this setback discourage her. Two years later, at the age of 11, she was cast in another of her father's films, Pandaemonium (2000).

She then became a weekly boarder at King's College boarding school in Taunton before moving on to Bedales boarding school in Hampshire to pursue her A-Levels. One of her A-Levels was in Drama, which she excelled in, earning a B and two C's.

At the age of 15, Juno informed her parents that she was serious about pursuing a career in acting. Her mother, Amanda, spotted an open audition call for Notes on a Scandal (2006) and encouraged Juno to audition. Juno's success in winning the role of Cate Blanchett's daughter marked a significant turning point in her career, leading to a role in another high-profile film, Atonement (2007). For her role as Lola, Juno dyed her hair red.

In 2009, Juno made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, partly to further her acting career.
