Biography

Julio's film directing career begins with his feature film "MY LAST ROUND" (2011),which premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival and garnered widespread recognition at international festivals. In Chile, his work received the esteemed Moviecity Award at the Valdivia Festival and the Pedro Sienna Award for best Chilean feature film released in theaters in 2012.

Later, Julio co-directed the documentary "VICENTE RUIZ, A TIEMPO REAL" (2022) alongside Matías Cardone. With a proven track record in television series and platforms, Julio has made a significant impact, including his Chilean adaptation of "THE RED BAND SOCIETY" (2014),"RAMONA" (2017),produced by Wood productions for TVN, which was selected at the Cannes Mip Drama Screenings and won the FIPA award in Biarritz for best series.
