Julia Sawalha, a talented actress, was born in the vibrant city of London, where she would later go on to make a name for herself in the acting world.
Her impressive career began with a starring role as Lynda Day in the critically acclaimed drama series Press Gang, which premiered in 1989 and earned her a prestigious BAFTA award for Best Drama Series.
Sawalha's versatility as an actress was showcased in her portrayal of Saffy in the popular sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, which debuted in 1992 and earned her the RTS award for Best Actress.
