Josh Tickell is a renowned film director, specializing in movies that convey a powerful social message. His first feature film, "Fuel" (2008),won the prestigious Sundance Audience Award for Best Documentary and was subsequently released theatrically in the United States. The movie's impact was immense, garnering over 1 million views on Netflix, iTunes, Hulu, and CNBC, and it was even screened at the White House for energy and environment staff working in the Obama Administration.
Tickell has been a featured guest on several prominent television shows, including Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show", "Good Morning America", CNN, Discovery, Reuters, NBC, Fox, and NPR. His films and personal story have been featured in numerous publications, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, USA Today, The Huffington Post, Hustler Magazine, Maxim Magazine, Popular Mechanics, and thousands of international newspapers and magazines.

Tickell holds an undergraduate degree in Sustainable Living from the New College of South Florida and a Master's degree in Film from Florida State University's School of Motion Picture Arts.
