Joshua Fardon was born in Kansas City and spent his formative years in Knoxville, Tennessee. He later attended Northwestern University, where he earned a degree that laid the foundation for his future success. His academic pursuits continued at the Yale School of Drama, where he earned an MFA in Acting.
As an actor, Joshua has had the privilege of working with renowned organizations such as The Public, Classic Stage Company, Williamstown, The Ahmanson, Yale Rep, The Old Globe, South Coast Playhouse, The Mark Taper Forum, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. His impressive resume also includes stage appearances in productions of Return of the Jedi, Chicago Fire, Conspiracy Theory, Volcano, The West Wing, and Frasier.
Joshua is a talented individual with a wide range of skills and accomplishments. He is a three-time O'Neill semi-finalist and a member of several prestigious organizations, including the WGA America East, The Dramatists Guild, SAG-AFTRA, and AEA.
In addition to his work as an actor, Joshua is also the Creative Director of The Naked Angels Theatre Company in Chicago and a Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists. His plays have been produced in various cities across the United States, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Denver, and Fort Lauderdale. Some of his notable plays include The Condition, The Burning of Kenneth Carrion, Do Not Disturb, Shake, This Contract Limits Our Liability - Read It!, and Miss Henrietta Stralson.
As a composer, Joshua has scored several films and stage productions, including Adopt a Sailor, Ruth Margraff's Stadium Devildare, Ken Rhot's The Birds, and his own A Cult Musical. His short films, Tenant and Shattered Bits, were official selections of the danceswithfilms festival.
