Biography

Joshua Mostel, the son of renowned Broadway and film star Zero Mostel, is a talented individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. As a graduate of Brandeis University, Mostel followed in his father's footsteps by pursuing a career in acting.

Mostel's early film appearances were notable, particularly his role as King Herod in the 1973 musical drama Jesus Christ Superstar. His character's psychedelic costuming and the presence of go-go girls added a unique touch to the film.

In addition to his film work, Mostel has also appeared in several television series. One of his most notable roles was as Blotto, the younger brother of John Belushi's Bluto, in the short-lived TV series Delta House. The show was a spin-off of the popular film National Lampoon's Animal House.

Despite the relatively short run of Delta House, Mostel has continued to work in film and television throughout his career. One of his most memorable roles was as Uncle Abe, a fish-peddling character, in Woody Allen's 1987 film Radio Days.
