Joseph Stefano

Joseph Stefano, a renowned creative horror screenwriter, has been crafting scripts since the early 1960s. His debut script, The Black Orchid, was written in 1958. Little more than a year later, he crossed paths with the illustrious Alfred Hitchcock, with whom he collaborated on the iconic script for Psycho, released in 1960. Stefano subsequently decided to forgo the assignment for Hitchcock's The Birds, which premiered in 1963.
