Joseph Durbin, a talented individual, was born and raised in the charming city of Winchester, Virginia. His early life was marked by a passion for entertainment, which he expressed through puppetry and theater from a young age.
As his career began to take shape, Joseph landed a role as a master puppeteer for the network WAZT, starring in the popular show "Puppet Treasures" from 2000 to 2004. This experience served as a springboard for his future endeavors, as he soon found himself cast as the lead in two award-winning directors' projects, Gary Ugarek's "Deadlands 2: Trapped" and Dale Jackson's "Maxwell Stein," in 2005.
Over the years, Joseph has amassed an impressive resume, with over 40 films to his credit. As he continued to hone his craft, he began to take an interest in the behind-the-scenes aspects of filmmaking. In 2011, he made his directorial debut with the short film "Your Last Six Inches," followed by "Charity," "Fat Kid Massacre," and "A Little Off The Top." His latest project, "Hemlock," is soon to be released.
In 2012, Joseph decided to combine his diverse talents, experience, and passion for films by establishing Vintage Film Productions, LLC.
Years later, in 2017, Joseph decided to venture into screenwriting, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Screenwriting from SNHU. This newfound skill allowed him to co-create, write, and executive produce the YouTube show "The Jurassic Joe Dino Show," in which he also starred as the host and explorer, in 2019.
