Jonathan Vanderzon, a talented Canadian actor of Dutch and Portuguese heritage, hails from New York, where he received his training. Born to parents who, alongside his uncles, operated a thriving landscaping and snow removal business in the suburbs of Montreal, Jonathan's early life was marked by a strong sense of community and a deep connection to the outdoors.
As a child, Jonathan found solace on the stage, taking his first steps as a performer at the tender age of nine, all in the pursuit of improving his French language skills. Growing up, he demonstrated a natural aptitude for storytelling, often creating his own skits, homemade movies, and engaging in various artistic pursuits, including drawing and writing.
Throughout his high school years, Jonathan balanced his time between competitive swimming, acting, and academia, ultimately graduating at the top of his class. This impressive feat was a testament to his dedication, discipline, and passion for learning.
After completing his post-secondary education, Jonathan worked a variety of jobs, including summer camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim instructor, all while pursuing his passion for acting. He had already earned a degree in health science and was halfway through a Bachelor of Engineering program before deciding to enroll in a prestigious acting conservatory and dedicate himself full-time to his craft.
Today, Jonathan Vanderzon is a proud alumnus of the TT Two Year Acting Conservatory in NYC, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the art of acting. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys singing, video editing, and writing, showcasing his versatility and creativity as a multifaceted individual.
