Jonathan is a documentary filmmaker who has made a name for himself in the industry, having been raised in the picturesque city of Juneau, Alaska, and now calling Tucson, Arizona his home.

With a passion for storytelling, his films have been showcased at some of the most prestigious film festivals around the world, including SXSW, Tribeca, the American Conservation Film Festival, and the Arizona International Film Festival, where he has walked away with the coveted Best of Arizona award not once, not twice, but three times.

Jonathan's exceptional cinematography skills have earned him a Gold Addy Award, a testament to his dedication and talent. He has also received grants from esteemed organizations such as the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Tucson Pima Arts Council, further solidifying his position as a respected figure in the film industry.

In 2018, he was awarded a grant from Vision Maker Media for his project ALMOST AN ISLAND, a testament to his innovative approach to storytelling.
