Biography

Jonathan Medina, a multifaceted individual with a passion for the arts, was born and raised in the vibrant city of New York.

As a naval veteran, he made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, driven by his desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

His initial foray into television was a network role on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, marking the beginning of his journey as a professional actor.

He then landed his first major recurring role on The Purge: Season 2, where he impressively portrayed Tommy Ortiz for seven episodes, showcasing his versatility as a performer.

In 2022, Jonathan became a series regular on the highly anticipated series Primo, a collaboration between the renowned creators Mike Schur and Shea Serrano.

Furthermore, he has had the privilege of playing the role of Mac Gargan / Scorpion in the critically acclaimed series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has accumulated an impressive list of notable credits, including appearances in For All Mankind, S.W.A.T., Chicago Fire, The Terminal List, Fear The Walking Dead, Walker: Independence, Bingo Hell, BA, Shameless, The Brave, Westworld, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, and Seal Team.
