Biography

Jonathan, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, spent his formative years in Mobile, Alabama, before relocating to Orlando, Florida at the tender age of twenty. It was in this vibrant city that he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, simultaneously cultivating his passion for improv comedy alongside the illustrious Wayne Brady at the esteemed SAK Theatre ComedyLab.

Fast-forward to 1995, Jonathan, along with a troupe of fellow improvisers, made the bold decision to transplant themselves to the City of Angels, Los Angeles. The group, subsequently rebranded as the Houseful of Honkeys, has since become a global phenomenon, touring the world and sharing the stage with comedy legends Wayne Brady and Drew Carey.

Today, Jonathan resides in Los Angeles with his loving wife, Leah Stanko Mangum, and their two sons, Chase and Austin, basking in the warm glow of a life filled with laughter, love, and limitless creativity.
