Biography

Jonathan Firth is renowned for his captivating portrayal of Prince Albert in the acclaimed BBC mini-series Victoria & Albert, which premiered in 2001. As one of the most accomplished and prolific actors in British contemporary drama, he has made numerous memorable appearances in a wide range of television productions.

His impressive credits include the popular BBC series Father Brown, which he joined in 2013, as well as Holby City, which he has been a part of since 1999. Firth has also made notable guest appearances on the hit series "Luther" in 2003 and "Ghost Whisperer" in 2006.

Prior to his successful television career, Firth graduated from the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 1989. He quickly landed several television roles, including the critically acclaimed mini-series Middlemarch, in which he played the complex and tormented character of Fred Vincy in 1994.

Firth's other notable roles include the highly acclaimed remake of Far from the Madding Crowd, in which he portrayed the complex and multifaceted character of Sergeant Troy in 1998. He also created the role of Soren in the popular "The Prince and Me" franchise, which spanned from 2006 to 2010.
