Jonathan Doe is a multifaceted American creative force, operating at the intersection of filmmaking, YouTubing, podcasting, and photography. His production company, Putrid Productions, established in 2018, serves as the umbrella for his diverse endeavors, including the distribution label Vile Video Productions, the YouTube channels Cinemas Underbelly and Murderabilia Show & Tell, and the podcasts the Uneasy Terrain Explorers Club, Smutopia, and True Crime Bedtime Stories.
Doe's reputation has been built on his extensive and meticulous collecting and conservation of lost, forgotten, and controversial media, as well as true crime artifacts. This passion project has allowed him to curate a unique and fascinating collection, which he showcases through his various platforms.
In 2021, Doe launched an ongoing series of fetish-gore films, Erotic Grotesque Nonsense, which includes the titles Barf Bunny (2021),The Degenerates (2021),Defilement of a Porcelain Doll (2022),and Majestic Flesh Faucet of Projectile Bile (2025). Additionally, he released a companion anthology, Symphony of Suffering, featuring fetish-gore films from himself and other notable filmmakers in the genre.
