Jonathan, a native of the Chicago area, embarked on his artistic journey by obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television Production at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University in 2004. Notably, he also pursued a minor in English and American Literature during his academic tenure.
Following his graduation, Jonathan began to make a name for himself in the arts, working on various film and theatre productions throughout the New York metropolitan area. His impressive work caught the attention of the esteemed New York Institute of Technology, which awarded him the prestigious NYIT award for playwriting in 2011.
Building upon this success, Jonathan went on to pursue his Master's degree in Theatre History and Criticism at Brooklyn College. His debut feature film, "Let Them Chirp Awhile," was fortunate enough to receive grant funding from NYU's Richard Vague Award Fund in 2007.
Today, Jonathan resides in Brooklyn, where he continues to nurture his passion for the arts.
