Jon's early life unfolded in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he first took his first breath, before relocating to the western part of the state to spend his formative years in Grand Rapids, surrounded by a large and loving family of six siblings.
From an exceptionally young age, Jon's passion for theatre was evident, as he began to take to the stage in elementary school plays, and continued to do so throughout his high school years. This early start laid the foundation for his future pursuits, as he went on to hone his craft at Hope College, a institution not far from his childhood home, where he worked summers at professional theaters, further refining his skills.
Upon graduating with degrees in Spanish and Psychology, Jon was faced with a prestigious opportunity, as he was offered a Fulbright Scholarship to Spain. However, he instead chose to attend the University of Houston's Professional Actor Training Program, a decision that has ultimately led to a lifelong career in the performing arts.
Today, Jon divides his time between two of the world's most vibrant cities, New York City and Los Angeles, where he continues to act on both the stage and screen, having established himself as a talented and dedicated artist.
