Prior to relocating to the City of Angels, Jon maintained ownership of a comic book store, where he indulged his passion for reading an extensive collection of vintage mystery, horror, and science fiction pulp magazines and paperbacks. This endeavor allowed him to develop an unparalleled level of expertise regarding the works of renowned authors within these genres, as well as an intimate familiarity with classic novels, films, and radio shows.
Before transitioning to his comic book store venture, Jon spent two years working in the video distribution industry, where he had the unique opportunity to view every movie that premiered during his tenure. This fascinating educational experience granted him the ability to offer informed advice to retail video stores on selecting titles for their inventory.
