Jon Baggaley has had a distinguished career spanning over five decades, with a vast array of credits to his name in film, television, musical theatre, opera, radio drama, and voice-over work. His extensive portfolio includes more than 200 books and articles on television communication, which have been translated into numerous languages including Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
As an expert in the field of communications media, Baggaley has held various positions, including Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, regular consultant to governments and broadcasting organizations across the globe, and expert witness. He has also served as a newspaper columnist, international speaker, and frequent guest on television and radio programs.
In the mid-1990s, Baggaley collaborated with his wife, writer Sheila E. James, to revive the multimedia "film train" tradition of agitprop in Ukraine and Russia. This innovative project brought cultural and educational programs to urban and rural communities across the former Soviet Union.
Since 2003, Baggaley and his wife have resided and worked across Europe and Asia, with Baggaley focusing on writing and presenting educational television programs for international training purposes.
