John Lawhorn, a name that may not be immediately recognizable, yet a face that is undoubtedly familiar to many Atlanta theatre enthusiasts, particularly those who have had the pleasure of attending productions at the esteemed Alliance Theatre. His impressive resume boasts notable appearances in the Alliance Theatre's stage adaptations of Harper Lee's timeless classic, "To Kill a Mockingbird", as well as the powerful works of August Wilson, including "Two Trains Running", "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom", "The Piano Lesson", and "Jitney".

Beyond his extensive credits in television, Lawhorn is also an internationally acclaimed music educator, having conducted seminars across the United States, as well as in some of the world's most renowned cultural hubs, including Rome, Paris, London, Germany, and Africa.
