Biography

John embarked on a cinematic journey in 1990, commencing his career as a stunt man on the film The Perfect Weapon. At the tender age of nine, he began his martial arts training, delving into the disciplines of boxing, kickboxing, gung fu, kali, and escrima, and later mastering Bruce Lee's esteemed art of Jeet Kune Do under the tutelage of renowned instructors Dan Inosanto and Richard Bustillo at the original Filipino Kali Academy in Torrance, California.

Throughout his illustrious career, John has accumulated over 100 film and television credits, solidifying his position as one of the premier Stunt Coordinators and Fight Coordinators in Hollywood. His exceptional work on the Sony AMC television show Preacher has earned him recognition as one of the top 5 Stunt Coordinators/Fight Coordinators by HYPEBEAST. John's remarkable versatility enables him to simultaneously fight choreograph, stunt coordinate, and second-unit direct entire action sequences, further distinguishing him from his peers.
