John Dalesandro embarked on his acting career at the age of 30, initially landing bit parts in the television series "Crime Story" and the feature film "The Untouchables" concurrently with his studies at Center Theatre on Chicago's North Side.
Under the guidance of the highly respected Natalija Nogulich, Dalesandro has honed his craft through nearly 40 stage productions and workshops, solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile performer.
As one of the original cast members of "Tony 'n Tina's Wedding", he brought his unique energy to the stage, and his impressive range was showcased in the 25th Anniversary Revival of "Lovers and Other Strangers" directed by Anthony Barnao at the Lex Theater in Los Angeles, where he played both Frank and Johnny.
Dalesandro's impressive resume also includes standout performances in "Pollen Count" at Beyond Baroque in Venice, CA, directed by Aram Saroyan, as well as several roles in "A View from the Bridge" directed by Jeff Seymour at The Gnu Theatre in Burbank, CA.
Furthermore, he was part of the workshop reading and subsequent world premiere of "Walking on the Moon" directed by Natalija Nogulich as a member of The Grace Players Theatre Co. at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, alongside Joe Mantegna and Burt Reynolds.
In addition to his thriving acting career, Dalesandro has also worked as a professional wine captain in Los Angeles, and he has been an avid participant in his favorite sport, competitive barehanded 16" softball, for the past 30 years.
With a passion that knows no bounds, he has been the Shortstop/3rd baseman on The Mutts softball club for the last 12 years, leading the team to victory as the only no-glove, 16" Southern California champions.
