John Hannah, the youngest sibling in his family, boasts two elder sisters. Prior to embarking on a career in acting, John Hannah pursued a four-year apprenticeship as an electrician. However, he eventually abandoned his work as an electrician after being accepted into the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. Following years of perseverance and struggle, John Hannah finally secured his "big break" when he was cast as Matthew in the 1994 romantic comedy film Four Weddings and a Funeral. As of today, John Hannah resides in London with his wife, Joanna Roth, and their two children.
