John Gottowt, a renowned actor and writer, took his first breath on June 15, 1881, in the city of Lemberg, which was then a part of Austria-Hungary, but is now known as Lviv, located in the beautiful country of Ukraine. His life's work was marked by his involvement in numerous film projects, with some of his most notable roles being in the iconic movies "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror" released in 1922, "Das schwarze Los" in 1913, and "The Student of Prague" also in 1913. Unfortunately, his life came to an end on August 27, 1942, in the town of Wieliczka, which is situated in the Malopolskie region of Poland.
