Biography

John, an accomplished director and cinematographer, hails from the iconic city of New York, where he spent his formative years. His academic background is rooted in the prestigious NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a bachelor's degree in film and television production. Following his move to Los Angeles, John had the opportunity to work as an assistant to producer Chris Meledandri at the renowned Illumination Entertainment. This experience laid the groundwork for his future success, as he went on to earn his Master's degree in directing from the esteemed American Film Institute. John's professional endeavors have taken him to various industries, including fashion, beauty, and gaming, where he has directed and shot a diverse range of commercials and branded content for social media influencers and brands. His impressive body of work includes the feature films A Thousand Junkies (2018) and the upcoming Late Bloomers, as well as a selection of shorts that have garnered recognition at prominent film festivals such as Sundance and SXSW.
