Biography

John Clive, a renowned and accomplished supporting actor, stands out with his tall and versatile presence, characterized by his distinctive brown-haired features, which have gradually transitioned to a distinguished balding appearance.

John's illustrious career in the film industry began with his debut role in the 1967 movie "Smashing Time," followed by a notable appearance in the iconic 1968 film "Yellow Submarine," where he was entrusted with the task of dubbing John Lennon's voice. This remarkable achievement was soon followed by his role in the 1969 film "The Italian Job," solidifying his position as a talented and sought-after actor.

Two years later, John appeared in the groundbreaking and controversial 1971 film "A Clockwork Orange," leaving an indelible mark on the cinematic world. He is also fondly remembered by fans of the "Carry On..." series for his portrayal of the first openly gay character, "Robin," in the 1972 film "Carry on Abroad." The character, who goes on holiday with his partner "Nicholas," unfortunately experiences a falling out with his partner, leaving Robin alone at the end of the holiday.
