John Clifford Talbot, a native of London, Ontario, was born into a family of professionals, with his father being a mechanical engineer and his mother a registered nurse. Growing up, John developed a strong passion for football, a sport that would go on to shape his life in profound ways.
For ten years, John played football with dedication and perseverance, ultimately earning a prestigious Schenley Award as a defensive nose guard. The camaraderie and teamwork involved in the sport laid the foundation for his future success in law enforcement, a career that would span over three decades.
Following his service in law enforcement, John turned his attention to the world of acting, both on stage and screen. His diverse range of interests and experiences have led him to describe himself as a "hoarder of hobbies," with a tendency to immerse himself in a subject until he has achieved a high level of proficiency.
