Biography

Joey Kern's journey in the world of acting began with his academic pursuits at New York University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama. He further honed his craft by training at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Kern's professional acting career kicked off on the stage, with performances for notable companies such as the Atlantic Theater Company, the New Group Theater, and Theatre for a New Audience. One of his notable stage roles was that of "Troilus" in William Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida".

He made his feature film debut in the independent film "Die Jungfrau" in 1999, followed by a guest appearance in the popular HBO television series "Sex and the City" in 1998. Kern's film career continued to grow with roles in "Super Troopers" in 2001, where he played a college boy, and in the indie films "Love the Hard Way" (2001),"XX/XY" (2002),and "Garmento" (2002),alongside notable actors such as Adrien Brody.

Kern's career gained momentum when he landed lead roles in two widely released films: "Grind" in 2003 and "Cabin Fever" in 2002. In addition to his film work, Kern has also appeared on ABC's television series "Wonderland" in 2000.
