Joe Lessard, a native of Michigan, has built a successful career as an Executive Producer and Sr. Vice President of Development and Production for Prometheus Entertainment, a leading force in the cable documentary and reality television industry.
After graduating from Michigan State University in 1999 with a degree in General Business Administration and Pre-Law, Lessard took a bold step by relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for creative writing, acting, and film.
Following several years of freelance experience, Lessard joined Prometheus in 2005 and quickly became an integral part of the team, working closely with the company's president and founder, Kevin Burns. Initially serving as his executive assistant, Lessard later evolved into one of Burns' key creative partners.
Throughout his tenure at Prometheus, Lessard has been involved in the production of several hit shows, including Kendra (2009),Holly's World (2011),Hef's Runaway Bride (2011),Kendra On Top (2012),and In Search of Aliens (2014). Additionally, he serves as an Executive Producer on The Curse of Oak Island (2014),Drilling Down (2016),and The Curse of Civil War Gold (2018).
In collaboration with Burns, Lessard co-wrote The Telling (2009),an independent horror feature that was seamlessly integrated into the storyline of the fifth season of The Girls Next Door (2005).
