Joe Bereta was born on November 13, 1982, in Montana, a state known for its breathtaking natural beauty, particularly Glacier National Park, where he spent his formative years in Columbia Falls.
As a multi-sport, hall of fame athlete at Columbia Falls High School, Joe excelled in various sports, laying the foundation for his future success. His academic achievements led him to Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where he discovered his passion for acting and comedy.
While at Gonzaga, Joe teamed up with Luke Barats to create Barats and Bereta Productions, an online comedy group that has gained massive popularity, earning over 100 million views online, producing a pilot for NBC, and winning numerous awards, including a spot on Variety's Comedy Impact List.
In addition to his work with Barats and Bereta, Joe is also known for being the head writer of SourceFed, a news and comedy show owned by Discovery Communications, where he was one of the original hosts alongside Lee Newton and Elliott Morgan. During his time at SourceFed, the channel won the Streamy Award for the Audience Choice Series of the Year in 2013 and has since accumulated 1.4 million subscribers and over 600 million views.
