João Arrais is a renowned Portuguese actor whose remarkable career has been unfolding since the tender age of nine. Over the years, he has had the privilege of taking on numerous roles in various mediums, including film, television, and stage productions.

Beyond his native Portugal, João Arrais is perhaps most recognized for his starring role in the final film of the esteemed Chilean filmmaker Raúl Ruiz, namely "Mysteries of Lisbon" (2010). He has also had the pleasure of collaborating with director Carlos Conceição on several occasions, with notable projects including the acclaimed features "Tommy Guns" (2022) and "Serpentarius" (2019).
