Jim's directorial debut, "The Pitch", was a full-length feature project that he wrote, produced, edited, and directed. The film was shot over the summers of 2015 and 2016 and documents the performances and interviews of buskers at the 25th and 26th editions of the Buskers on The Bay Festivals in Canada.
The film features a diverse range of performers from Australia, England, the US, and Canada, providing a unique perspective into the world of busking. Jim's fascination with this project stemmed from his desire to explore the remarkable lives of these entertainers, who perform in front of massive crowds yet remain relatively unknown outside of their performances.
As Jim reflects on the project, he notes that it was a privilege to delve into the challenges and motivations of these talented artists. He is currently working on ideas for his second feature, demonstrating his continued passion for storytelling and his dedication to the entertainment industry.
