Biography

Jim Goodwin's educational journey began in Portland, Oregon, during the 1960s and 1970s, a pivotal time in the development of rock music, which was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam War and awaiting the dawn of the disco era.

In the 1980s, Goodwin's musical talents took center stage as he joined forces with the alternative rock band "The Call". This collaborative endeavor enabled him to work alongside some of the industry's most iconic figures, including the enigmatic Bono, the renowned Peter Gabriel, and other notable artists, all the while nurturing a burning desire for a major breakthrough.

However, it was not until he ventured into the realm of commercial music that Goodwin's success truly came to fruition. His impressive portfolio boasts a range of notable accomplishments, including the creation of music scores for independent films, as well as the development of memorable themes for esteemed brands such as Sunny Delight, ABC Primetime, and Miller Beer.

In recent years, Goodwin has launched his own music production company, eggchair music, where he continues to craft and produce high-quality music, solidifying his position as a versatile and accomplished musician.
