Jeymes Samuel, professionally known as The Bullitts, is a multifaceted English creative individual hailing from London, boasting a wide range of talents that include writing, directing, singing, and music producing.
In 2013, Jeymes had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed filmmakers Baz Luhrmann and Jay Z on the music for the highly acclaimed film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, The Great Gatsby. As the film's Executive Music Consultant, Jeymes played a crucial role in shaping the cinematic experience.
The same year, Jeymes made his directorial debut at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, with the western film They Die by Dawn. This cinematic masterpiece is loosely based on real-life characters and takes place in the fictional town of Langston, Oklahoma, during the year 1890.
Notably, Jeymes wrote and directed They Die by Dawn, which coincided with the release of The Bullitts' debut album, 'They Die By Dawn & Other Short Stories'. This album serves as a precursor to the upcoming feature film, The Notorious Nine, which is set to begin production in 2014.
