Jewelle's remarkable journey began in Alberta, where she was born, and continued in W. Germany, where she spent her formative years. Upon her return to Canada, Jewelle's life took an unexpected turn when she auditioned for a minor role in a school play, only to be offered the lead role instead. This early success sparked a passion for acting, and Jewelle went on to take film acting classes in her teenage years, honing her craft with several vibrant groups that received rave reviews for her work.
As a storyteller at heart, Jewelle was driven to use her talents to make a positive impact on the world. In this spirit, she recorded a CD titled 'Hidden Utopia', featuring seven self-written and produced songs that showcased her artistic range.
As the years passed, Jewelle's creative pursuits continued to evolve. In 2010, she embarked on a one-on-one film making apprenticeship, which ultimately led to the development of the new series, Poker Girls, a project that earned a nomination for best TV Pilot at the Banff World Media Festival in 2011.
After undergoing redevelopment and recasting, the series was rebranded as "Bluff", a testament to Jewelle's perseverance and dedication to her craft.
In addition to her acting work, Jewelle has also ventured into the world of television production, creating the lifestyle series UnCaged, which caters to outdoor motorbike adventure seekers. Her husband, Rob Colwell, stars as the host of the show.
Throughout her career, Jewelle has consistently found joy and fulfillment in her work as an actress, allowing her to freely explore her various characters and bring them to life.
