Jessica Tomé's artistic journey began on the vibrant streets of New York City's lower east side, affectionately known as Loisada, where she was captivated by the dynamic arts community and the magic of Broadway.
As a youngster, she discovered her passion for performing while participating in a kids' musical group at a local community center, which ultimately led to her introduction to the violin in junior high school.
Her early theatre training took place at The Terry Schrieber Studio in NYC, where she fell head over heels in love with the stage and its limitless possibilities.
As her talents continued to flourish, she made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where she immersed herself in the world of film and television.
In 2010, her big break arrived when she landed the complex and challenging role of Tracy, a prostitute struggling to survive on the streets of LA, in the critically acclaimed film Fig.
The film's success was nothing short of meteoric, earning HBO's prestigious Grand Jury Prize and securing a broadcast deal, with its debut set for January 2012. Additionally, Fig took home the coveted Director's Guild Award.
In 2011, Tomé wrapped production on The Ropes, a project created by the talented Vin Diesel, in which she played the pivotal role of Lucille.
