Jesse Santoyo, a Mexican-American filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, and singer-songwriter, hails from the vibrant Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, renowned for its rich Latino heritage. From a tender age, Jesse's fascination with film only deepened, and he began his artistic journey by taking the stage in local and school theater productions, as well as crafting and producing his own movies.
Growing up in an environment with limited Latino representation in Hollywood, Jesse initially believed that a career in film and television was out of reach. Nevertheless, his unwavering determination drove him to pursue his dream, and in 2007, he bid farewell to Chicago.
His odyssey led him to the thriving music scene of Nashville, Tennessee. Although he initially struggled to find his footing, with his savings dwindling and work scarce, Jesse's fortunes took a turn when he discovered that a local talent agency was seeking Latino actors. Armed with little more than an old camera and an unyielding spirit, he snapped a photograph of himself and submitted it to the agency, securing a signing and launching his acting career.
Since then, Jesse has appeared in a diverse array of commercials, feature films, and television shows, including notable roles in Cobra Kai, Dynasty, A Nashville Country Christmas, alongside country music legend Tanya Tucker, and the forthcoming Naked Gun Reboot, starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, set to premiere in 2025.
In 2016, Jesse expanded his creative horizons by founding Logan Beach Productions, his own independent production company. Through this venture, he has written, directed, and produced numerous independent films and projects, relentlessly pushing boundaries and bringing fresh stories to the screen.
