Person Biography:
Jesse Joyce is a stand-up comedian and Emmy-nominated, WGA Award-winning writer who splits his time between Los Angeles and New York. He has earned a reputation as a favorite headliner on the comedy scene, with performances loved by crowds around the world, and a writing style admired and respected by comedians at every level.
Joyce has made numerous TV appearances on Comedy Central, including Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, Live At Gotham, and @midnight with Chris Hardwick. He has also been featured on Last Call with Carson Daly and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for NBC, and was voted a top 20 Semifinalist on Last Comic Standing in 2010.
In addition to his TV appearances, Joyce has written for numerous hit Comedy Central shows and specials, and currently works for the Emmy-winning Comedy Central show @Midnight. He has also written for Dave Attell's late-night comedy series Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, and is one of the longest-standing writers for the Comedy Central Roast franchise.
Joyce has been a long-time joke writer for Seth McFarlane, and has written for The 2014 BET Awards hosted by Chris Rock, Hulu's Triumph's Election Special 2016 for Robert Smigel, and The 2013 & 2015 Guys Choice Awards on Spike TV. He was also a writer and consulting producer on The Jim Norton Show for Vice.com.
As a performer, Joyce has entertained audiences across America, as well as in 17 countries on 4 continents, with his live show at clubs, colleges, and festivals. He has appeared at numerous comedy festivals, including the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, and the Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival in Austin, TX.
Joyce currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Emily and their dog Petey.
