His extensive repertoire includes the critically acclaimed musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which premiered in 2001. Prior to this, Mitchell's creative talents were showcased in the 1999 dark comedy, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and the 1998 fantasy comedy, Meet Joe Black.
