Jeroen van Koningsbrugge is a multifaceted actor, renowned for his versatility in films, TV-series, and theatre, as well as his success as a TV personality, comedian, writer, producer, director, and singer-songwriter.
On television, Jeroen has had a diverse career, showcasing his comedic talents as a regular cast member in the Dutch version of 'Whose Line is it Anyway?', 'Lama', and as a permanent team captain on 'Ik hou van Holland'. He also played the role of Jack in the Dutch version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', 'Iedereen is Gek op Jack'.
In 2010 and 2011, Jeroen won the prestigious Zilveren Televizier Ster for Best Television Personality. He has also written and performed in his own comedy sketch show, 'Draadstaal', alongside his friend Dennis van de Ven, for 13 years.
Since 2014, Jeroen has played the leading role in the police series 'Smeris', for which he has also written, directed, and is the creative producer. Season 5 is set to be released in 2020.
On the big screen, Jeroen has appeared in several films, including 'Links', for which he won the The Silver Meléliès at the Lund Fantastik Film Festival. In 2017, Jeroen was awarded the Zilveren Televizier Ster for best actor for his portrayal of Andries Riphagen in the film 'Riphagen'. This year, he is set to appear in two international feature films, 'Why not choose love: A Mary Pickford Manifesto' and 'Spider-Man: Far From Home'.
