Jeremy, a multifaceted individual, was born in Wisconsin and has since called Washington, Illinois, and currently Los Angeles his home.
With a strong foundation in creative writing, Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Washington, followed by a Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
His notable play, Another Harvest Moon, explores the thought-provoking topic of "death with dignity" and has been performed in Seattle, with a subsequent screen adaptation. His other plays have been showcased in Seattle and Southern California.
Jeremy's dedication to giving back to his community is evident through his volunteer work with the Virginia Avenue Project in Santa Monica, where he has taught playmaking to at-risk youth. Additionally, he holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and has taught students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Jeremy has also written two plays specifically designed for students to perform, including Philo Taylor Farnsworth Invented TV and Pandora and Prometheus, which feature parts for students with varying abilities, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and non-verbal students.
Two of Jeremy's screenplays, Another Harvest Moon and another untitled work, have been recognized as "Second Rounders" at the prestigious Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition.
