Biography

Jeremy Child's educational journey began at the prestigious Eton, where he later transitioned into a brief stint in the City of London, only to depart at the earliest opportunity, much to the dismay of his father, a Foreign Office veteran, who had hoped his son would follow in his footsteps by joining the esteemed Guards.

In an attempt to appease his father, Jeremy underwent an interview for the Guards, only to respond to the inquiry about his motivation for joining with a candid "I don't," thus sealing the fate of his military career.

Undeterred, Jeremy pursued his passion for the performing arts by enrolling in drama school, where he developed essential life skills, including self-sufficiency and the ability to shed his posh accent.

Following his father's passing in the mid-1970s, Jeremy inherited the baronetcy, becoming Sir Jeremy, a title he ultimately chose not to utilize. His personal life was marked by two marriages, resulting in the birth of three children: Melissa, Leonora, and Alexander.
